Golden autumn light totally blessed Sam and Akasha’s gorgeous wedding at The Woodyard at Worstead Estate and couldn’t be better suited to their warm and genuine personalities as a couple. True to their adventurous, untraditional spirit, the day was filled with colour, joy, and individuality. Akasha wore a stunning Rue De Seine gown—an embroidered, modern vintage dress of pink and burgundy tones paired with a blush veil and cowboy boots—which was so iconic it was later featured on Rue De Seine’s website! Meanwhile, Sam’s flared suit was just SUCH a statement - I was obsessed with both looks!
Their ceremony, led by the wonderful Anna from Gentle Rebel Ceremonies (who actually led my own wedding and I couldn’t recommend highly enough) was deeply personal and moving, beautifully capturing their love story. Having met in the UAE, Sam and Akasha’s shared passion for travel has taken them on countless adventures which were all mentioned and their story was told so well. Their engagement shoot with me in the breathtaking Peak District helped me get to know this side of them and this really influenced how I capture the day and all the little details.
