Jasi and Ryan’s Black-Tie Wedding at Davenport House

Jasi and Ryan’s wedding was pure magic. Glamorous, timeless, and full of joy from start to finish, it was the kind of day that I’ll remember as an iconic wedding I was lucky enough to photograph. Every detail had meaning. From the beautiful handmade table signs crafted by the bride to the thoughtful gifts passed between their loved ones, their personalities were everywhere. The ceremony felt intimate and heartfelt, while the evening turned into a full-on party with dhol drums bringing incredible energy and keeping the dance floor buzzing all night, as well as adding the cultural aspect that was so important to Jasi’s family.

Style-wise, it was a dream to photograph. The groomsmen looked sharp in classic tuxedos, while Ryan wore a custom-fitted one with subtle personal touches that made it his own. The bridesmaids wore dusty rose, which carried beautifully through the decor - it was just the right pop of colour to very timeless and classic themed wedding. Jasi's Viero Bridal dress and Louboutins deserve their own moment, too - absolutely stunning!

And then there was the venue: Davenport House. A breathtaking Georgian country home, lovingly restored and full of character, it felt like stepping into a true fairytale. With its rich history and romantic legacy, it couldn’t have been a more magical place for Jasi and Ryan to get married. I’d absolutely love to come back to this gorgeous venue!

What meant the most to me was being chosen not just for being a photographer, but how my style totally matched the vibe they wanted for their day. Jasi and Ryan told me they loved the natural, editorial feel of my photos and how even the posed moments didn’t feel forced - they wanted the Vogue vibe without it taking over the day and I think we matched that brief perfectly. They also liked that I was invested in them, not just the job, and that really stuck with me.

Their wedding was the kind of day I’ll always remember: full of style, love, laughter, and energy. I’m so excited to share more soon!
